Former NBA Player Corie Blount busted for Pot
You’d think this story was from the Onion or Brokeback, but its 100% true and full of irony. Former NBA star, drafted in the first round in 1993, Corie Blount was busted back in December and sentenced today for possession of Marijuana. When asked what the weed was for he claimed it was for personal use between him and his friends. This would be believable if it was a few ounces, maybe a pound, however Blount was caught with 29 pounds of weed. After reclaiming to the judge that it was for personal use, the judge responded, “Cheech and Chong would have had a hard time smoking that much.” Nonetheless, Blount stood his ground, refusing to admit it was for distrubution. But hey, who are we to judge?
