An Epic Tale…
This story comes courtesy of a buddy down at Rollins College aka College Disney World.
“Earlier this month, I am lounging in my friend’s room (my friend, for the purposes of the story will go by “Geoff”). Geoff, a man who enjoys partying, wants to pregame on a Friday night in his room. A fair choice, in which I cooperated. Through the course of 20 minutes Geoff and his roommate gather three fellas and 10 girls who had just transferred to our school and a few girls we were close with, packed into the room. Music blaring, we were unaware of campus security walking through our hallway. Once we hear the tell-tale standard three knocks from campus security, the music quiets and everyone goes to a near silence in anxious anticipation.
Geoff, level-headed, simultaneously keeps everyone quiet while hiding solo cups and the fair amount of spare beverage in the room (i.e. 9 handles of booze). Almost done covering up the mess, Geoff focuses on Melissa, a girl he has known and trusts fairly well; he looks at her and says, “No matter what I say to them, FOLLOW MY LEAD.” The next five seconds: Geoff strips down to his birthday suit, cups his privates, and opens and struts out the door.
He says, verbatim, “Guys, I’m sorry if I was making a little too much noise but I’m TRYING to make love with my long distance girlfriend, she’s only here for the weekend and we’re trying to make the most of it.” Melissa, ever so witty: “Sweetie are you coming back to bed?”
“Honestly, (whispers to one of the guards) she’s a bit of a moaner and I’d rather keep my music cranked, I’m a little self-conscious about her making so much noise when we tryna get intimate.”
Campus Security Officer: “Uh oh wow um well Mr. ‘Geoff’ if you could just please keep the music down a little and please stop standing in the hallway naked…just…have a good night.”
Triumphant in victory, we wait for campus security to leave the hallway and recommence the pregaming.”
